A guy on a Heavily Modded Suziki GSX-R1100 decided to make a full throttle 1st to 2nd gear run near my parked car. A slow moving truck was in his way so he hit the throttle and was passing it on the right side.

My car was parked there on the street, and he evidently didnt see it until it was too late. He was on the binders bigtime and hit the left side rear bumper, creased my left quarter panel real good from the under the taillight to the wheelwell , totally missed the door but destroyed my mirror. He hit the ground with his bike doing about 25mph.
His bike suffered far worse than the Green Machine did, and he was unhurt save for his pride. He immediately got up and tried to restart it and split, but it wouldnt start. By this time i had ran out of the house and saw him trying to stand his bike up.
Some of his friends came over on foot and took his bike away while i was getting his info. my daughter called the cops. after over an hour, they never came.
The next day, I called his insurance company to find out if he had insurance. Guess what? yep, no insurance, no motorcycle endorsement and his phone number is not in service.
Too bad the prick didnt break his leg...Well, rather than file a claim and go thru all the bullsh*t, im gonna try and fix it myself.
I just got all my front end parts installed and was looking foward to taking a little cruise up North, with a good running and looking Mark.

Please let me know asap. Green would be golden, but any 93 color will work.
 
But you do have his name right? Call the freakin cops mang! I know they didnt show up but now its a fleeing kinda thing. And WTF do you live that cops dont show? Every accident I have been in they are there in under 15 minutes.... usually under 5.

So sorry for the accident but this MF'er needs to pay! :mad:
 
Joe you are an idiot for not going through the proper legal channels with this... you aren't saving anyone but the prick who hit you money by not pursuing this.
 
yea, i got his name and address and a lot more. hes not going anywhere.

That scumbag needs to be jailed! When the :q:q:q:q did it become acceptable for men not to stand up and take responsibility for their actions? I hate people like that! I swear I would love 5 minutes in a room with a scumbag like that! If you don't teach him a lesson, more people will be victimized by that scum!

Put him in his place and get your retribution. Then go after the police department for the cost to repair because it was due to their negligence you are in the predicament you are in. The cops were probably busy giving speeding tickets that generate the state money, rather than doing real police work like this. Un-freaking-believable!
 
shoulda call the phone number when he gave it to you...to confirm.

did you notice if he had a cell phone in his possession??

defiantly follow up with the police, speak with a supervisor as to why your "request for service" was ignored, thus allowing the other driver to leave the scene after an extended period of waiting....and make sure you tell them he gave you false and misleading information.

did you copy the tag AND VIN from the bike?
did you copy his drivers license number?
take any pictures of the bike and or perpetrator?
 
you did physicaly look at his licence and registration? with that info you should be able to track him down and bring him to court for damages !!Fn cops are useless ,unless your doing 66 in a 55 zone then there on the job.
 
His new BB Storm with all contacts, Moms address etc...bike pics and bike info magically found its way to me. my daughter was on porch recording the scene. I got his license number, plate number, vin number, expired Insurance policy number. (thats how i found out he wasnt valid.) if the guy wants to be a wannabe gangsta about it and not man up, i have the resources to change his mind.
my cars damage isnt real bad. Im not out to screw him at all. but payment is due.
how this is handled will totally be determined by him and his attiude when i go to his house and show him estimates. If I get the runaround, i'll persue this from a different tack. you guys are probably right, i should go to the police with this real soon but im gonna try and give the guy he benifit of the doubt.
Im willing to work with the guy. everyone deserves a break.

Underage kid? If so you can legally go after his parents. If not, I hate to say it but if he doesn't have insurance and is a broke d**k then you'll end up getting the shaft. I have a feeling since he doesn't have his endorsement or insurance that he is indeed a broke d**k and wont be able to man up and pay ya. The courts will force him to make payments to you monthly and they don't make them pay jack :q:q:q:q per month. Well at least that's how Ohio does it. Good luck with this, people like this need to burn.
 
If he didn't man up from the begining, it's all over with, in my book.

Call the authorities, and get this ball rolling, he was through with you when he tried to get back on his bike and take off, no second chances here, fry him.

Hes no kid. hes 33, 6ft tall and 230-240lbs. thick as a brick. looks like mean Martin Lawrence on steroids. hes got kids and and a very expensive Suzuki with probably 2K in damages. gotta figure out how to upload pics.

Ah man.. I dont understand some people. Have a nice bike, but dont bother getting the proper license and insurance to keep it nice and keep it legal. Good luck with this man, hate to see honest people get screwed.

You need the police report if you have uninsured motorist coverage. I make the police come, even if it is on private property. Telling them that if they don't come that something bad might happen usually gets their attention.
 
Well if his car was on the street then its not private property. Id definitely call the police dept. again and talk to the Chief. Tell him/her what happened and let them take it from there. If you talk about something bad going to happen you're more than likely going to piss them off and then they'll take their sweet ass time getting out to you and handling the situation.

I am well aware of that, I was using it as an example since the police did not come for him.

No, you walk into the station and ask to file a report. Asking to talk to the chief is going to get you laughed at.

If you talk about something bad going to happen you're more than likely going to piss them off and then they'll take their sweet ass time getting out to you and handling the situation.

Where did I advocate that after the fact? It is apparent by your response that you have no reading comprehension abilities to speak of. You have to fight sometimes to get he report that you need to have for insurance, something that being prior law enforcement I am well aware of. You never have someone do appreciable damage to your property without getting a police report. All too often it turns out like this or into a he said she said argument instead of a factual report.

Woah, calm down there. No need to act like this...

If the police did not come after he called he needs to speak with the man in charge, not another peon that cannot do his job properly. Speaking to another lackey will get him nowhere other than a "Oh, Im sorry sir." This needs the attention of the commanding officer. Their complete and utter disregard of the situation is something that needs to be addressed. Walking in and filing a report isnt going to fix the problem with them not showing up....

Sorry but that reads out to me and probably a lot of other people that you're telling him to call and tell them that he is going to beat this guys ass or you are threatening them if they don't do something.

Also I never said he would not need a report. Obviously he needs to file a report to file ANY kind of claim with the insurance company...
