I have taken some crap from some of you city slickers on living in Rural Wisconsin.

Well here is something you guys don't find out side your place of buisness!!

This is right across the street from my classroom. We watch the Eagle fly in and take it's perch. This is only 2 block from my house also.

Very Cool Man!! AND I've got a shocker for ya!

I live in New Jersey and once in '89 or '90 I saw an Eagle just like yours
perched upon a huge Maple in my girlfriends neighborhood. Her father was
a hunting/fishing type and when I entered the house I said... "I may be wrong
but I think I saw an eagle"... He quickly followed that up with Yes You Did!! I've
been watching him all afternoon.... So, How's that for wildlife!! NEW JERSEY DUDE!!

Still Very Cool!!!!!

So instead of taking crap from us, you're taking it from a big bird . . . :joke .

I live a few miles from a federally protected bald eagle nesting area that's on lake Keystone here in OK. I see them all the time in the fall and winter where they feed on fish below Keystone dam. Once I was driving across the bridge over the Arkansas river by my house and a bald eagle was flying parallel to me about 15 ft. away for several seconds. It was huge and majestic; quite an awesome sight. I almost had a wreck watching it.

I have 4 nests in about a 10 mile area.

The Eagle in the pic was watching a creek that meanders through town. Once when walking to work and Eagle swooped down only about 10 feet from me and only about 5 ft off the ground. It was wild.

Living next to the Wisconsin River we have lots of Bald Eagles and it is very common to see them, and it never gets old.

In the land of 10,000,000 lakes and rivers you're almost guaranteed to see one. I did every time I went out camping up north. But since livening in the city down here the only wild life I see is the dead raccoons on the side of the road. Very nice pictures!

Why did the Chicken Cross the Road? To Prove to the Raccoon it could be done!

Rich said he spotted another one last week, thanks for forwarding the thread Rich. I think God shared His majesty with them, steadfast powerful grace.

Bald Eagles are a Weekly sighting around here. If I wanted I could be daily.

Cities have their perks but I wouldn't give up living out here for nothing.

Those three upped my week to about 6 sightings that week.

Thats cooollll Rich
Beleive it or not they have been spotted around the Detroit area !!:D :D

I used to see them a lot in my old home town. I was right on the Mississippi and have seen my share. They are cool though.
