well it's gone. got $4000.00 not too bad huh? medical bills for my illness are over $90,000 and still climbing!! and I'm not well enough to drive anymore. I'm on SS disability now. adjusting slowly to my life with chronic pancreatitis.... oh, and hi to all !!!! I'm just glad I'm still alive!!

Ya, it REALLY does suck. I love or loved to drive, but I'm weak and have nausea all the time and on pain meds so I would be a danger to myself and others on the road. but I'm OK with it now. I hope I'm still welcome here though, and I'm still going to leave my pics and sig up to remind me of the good ol' days.

dang, having that sickness sucks. My mom has had pancreatic problems all her life. It gets tough for her and around home when it acts up. At least a full week out of everything.

My wife has chronic pancreatitis as well caused by a doctors mistake during an ERCP procedure. She nearly died 3 times between November 2007 and July 2008.
She has since recovered enough to work but she has to be very careful about what she eats as the wrong thing can set off an attack.
Hopefully you progress to the point where your daily life is not revolving around the illness.
