I'm glad I just buy "stock size" and then there is no need to worry with calculations. Now if I was to throw on some 18's, I would get into using one of those or just looking to see what everyone else here on LVC is running best with and go with it. I think I would rather go with experiences here. There are so many different sizes of 18's floating around here with different brands, it would be hard to go wrong to just see who isn't having problems after long periods of time.
