Congradulations Rich and MARK !!!:shifty: :ballon :bestwishe
May you both have many more :D

these engines can go at least 400,000 miles if you keep clean oil in them and don't get them hot. congrats on hitting 200,000 miles Rich. may you go another 200,000 miles.:Beer :Beer :L :steering

Thats cool, it'll last as long as you want it too. My MarkVII has 220,000 and still runs good, shame I don't drive it anymore.

Congrats Rich, you keep taking good care of it and it will last you a long time.

Congrats on 200k.
I should be hitting 100k sometime withing the next couple months.

Congrats man, that is a big achievement... how about a tuneup for your 93, it deserves it hitting the big 200k... get it some new plugs/wires/fuel filter and seafoam that sucker (before the plug change...).

Oh this June (as soon as school is out and I have time) she is getting a good once over....

She just got a new 5 qts of Mobile 1 with 1 qt of Lucas.

She is due for some spark plugs. I'll have to wait just a bit on the plug wires.

She had a nice K&N filter that I got from Sergmark!!! (Thanks Steve) so she is breathing ok.... I should take out her air sliencer, maybe something I'll do this summer also.

She got a set of springs last summer, and and a new set of tires this spring.

She will be getting new tranny fluid (Mercon V).

She is still running stong.

I will be also taking her in for an alinement as soon as school it out or my daughter has a break.

She will be ready for the July Meet in Boscobel!!! Nothing fancy just a Nice smooth running 200K+ Lincoln Mark VIII....

I use lucas full synthetic oil stabilizer {treatment} it is the best oil treatment there is. it adds extra protection and lubricity to the oil. and adds a coating to the internal parts of the engine so when you start the car when it's cold there is a layer of protection until the oil gets circulated. Excellent stuff.

 only 200K!

Not bad for such a young car...my 65 coupe has 328K - org engine, even orginal headlamps!

Just teasin ya...Congrats

:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
