Happy Birthday Marines!

A committee of the Continental Congress met at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, Pa, to draft a resolution calling for two battalions of Marines able to fight for independence at sea and on shore. Thus, on November 10, 1775, the Marine Corps was born.

I have good friends in the marines and even though I'm Air Force and we give each other lots of sh!t, they still have my respect.
