Well, I went to the junkyard today and spotted a 95 or 96 continental, I took the EATC out of the car and took it to the front desk and picked it up for 10 bucks. It is in PERFECT shape. I installed it just a few minutes ago and it works just like new.

Yeah, It improved the look of the center counsole. Made it look more modernized compared to that old POS one.

It was very very easy! Just be careful not to break the bezel that goes around it. The tubes that connect to the back are held on by stamped nuts(10mm). And there are two connectors that need to be disconnected.

got the same 96 model in my mark.... defiantly looked better than the one i had in when i bought the car, which every button was cracked for the exception of the red button for the heat...lol

Must just be my luck then....I have purchased 2 1996 Conti HVAC controllers just like the one pictured....and neither of them have worked. The current one I just purchased runs even if the power is off.....WTF!!!!! :shifty:

Good lookin out....I am gonna reinstall the one I have to see if I had a connector not fully seated or something.......:shifty:

Don't know Ray with your electronic knowledge you think yours would work.

Plus you would know if they would work or not.
