So I have a guy on another one of my sites, that made a thread about SCT. He is bitching and moaning that he got ripped off, becuase the tuners are vin locked. He didn't put his last car back to stock, and is pissed that he has to now pay $150 to get it unlocked so he can use it on the new one. I tried being nice and first, but he got an attitude, so I have been having fun with this clown.

He did not read the manual, and you were a condescending prick. Seems to me that you are both idiots.

This thread is full of win. Well, except for Josh's douchebag response.

Something something something nothing nice to say....
Something something something keep yer mouth shut.

lol ^ Everytime I get something new that I've never used before, I read all the paper work with it or related to it. It his own fault for not checking how the lock out worked.

Hopefully sooner than later that guy will figure out that most stuff that goes wrong is his own fault. Being stuck in denial stage, acting like the whole world is out to get you, will make you a dick for most of your life. Sometimes its better to just say "yep, I fuked up again" and move on.

If it was me I would have started a post that said I screwed up again and didn't convert back to stock, now its gonna cost me a buck fifty. Instead of I got screwed.

a typical example of today's youth...too stoopid to spoonfeed themselves.

He's pissing and moaning about SCT..when what he's experiencing is an "industry wide" scenario. ALL handhelds lock themselves to the vehicle...

DUH...

DUH... is certainly right. However, not every handheld tuner locks to the vehicle; HPTuners is one example I personally know of that allows you to unlock to a VIN, a year, or a class of vehicles.

hp tuners? that isnt a handheld flash device..is it?

its laptop based flashing..if i remember correctly

In his brick wall of text, he called me a stupid 24 year old turd. Sp apparently he isn't a young guy, but rather an older one, which is even worse.

Tommy if you read my last reply, you will see I used your "spoon feeding" reference to add effect.
