Are you talking about equal-length or long tube headers?
Shorties will fit, equal lengths will fit with a bit of work.
Long tube headers should also fit just the same. They'll fit much easier if you replace the k-member with a tubular unit.

I've got equal-length shorties and a 5spd, no biggie.
Long tubes will fit with mods on the auto, but not sure on the 5spd, with runnin the clutch cable and :q:q:q:q.
