Headers?

Hi i am intrested in getting a set of headers for my mark since it seems to have an exaust leak from the manifold any idea where they are available?

Right now this is the only place to get headers for the mark VIII.

You sure the exhaust leak isn't from the EGR tube on the back of the driver's side head?

NYC, dude, I think he would know, its a "manifold leak", I would recommend the kooks headers. lol, but ya check your egr tube, or just egnore it and try and just the kooks

How much would a shop typically charge to install those headers?

$800-$1,000.00 is probably what you will find out there as a legitimate price from a reputable establishment. Then you also need to pony up for a complete exhaust system the rest of the way back, and that can really vary as to choice of mufflers, exhaust pipe sizes, types of material, X-Pipes etc.

Noise travels, and it's not like you can get anywhere near the driver's side exhaust manifold to be certain which is why I asked.

"MOST"Leaks ARE THE EGR TUBE! In fact almost all that I have encountered are just that.
