I done it on my cougar... essentially same engine, but mounted normally (rwd) not transverse (fwd). Wasn't too bad, other than some clearance problems with the exhaust manifolds... I can image the FWD version is tougher... not as much room to work around the exhaust. but otherwise shouldnt be too tough. Make sure you use good quality gaskets, and NEW headbolts... and follow torque procedure to the letter. its fairly complicated, but needed.
