You have to heat the entire headlight assy in an oven at 400 degrees. But becareful because if you heat them up too much, you will melt the lens. You are only trying to heat the glue up enough to soften it. The two halves will pull apart once its hot. It will also harden back up once it starts to cool, so you have to work fast.

I ruined 2 sets before I got it right.

thanks for the help, that helps alot:)

No prob. Just take your time and work slow. If you think your heating it too much pull it out, and try to seperate the halves. I ended up using a couple of small flat blade screwdrivers to pry them apart. Just becareful.

You should look to see if the silver plating inside the reflecter is still shiny. Mine went away above the bulb. Nothing could fix that problem. I did a HID bulb conversion which helped some. I ended up buying new lights from the ford dealer. Now it is daylight with the HID bulbs and new lights.

ok, so i pulled the lamps out, heated them up, alot....i burned myself, lmao :Bang , and i couldn't get them apart at all. i think after all that, i might see if i can just buy a nice clear clean one.
