hey whats up i just joined the site. i have a 2000 lincoln ls v8. i need help finding badass headlights. i want to know if there are any from a diff. car i could use, or if theres a site. i was thinkin of halos or atleast clear corners. if anyone knows where i could find these thatd be awesome.
 
ok, then how would i go about doin that? how do you know what to get so you dont waste your money? how can you do clearcorners yourself?

Easy. Use the search feature. There must be thousands of posts on this.
 
on top of the page, you.ll see a a link to "tech articles". in the tech articles are the instructions for removing condensation from headlights. in that article it gives the instructions for disassembling the headlight. you have to take it apart and pop out the amber lens.

I also just posted a DIY on smoking the lenses on the LS as well.

Unfortunately there is little aftermarket support of the LS. Unless its something like the Magnaflow kit or the KKM intake its all factory replacement parts.

Oh and a few body kits.

i just did the rit dye myself too, came out nice, the car looks nicer, i had to get the powder dye but it worked the same, ill post pics tomorrow
 
www.LSKoncepts.com has plenty of aftermarket parts for our LSes. Searching Ebay for parts works too.

To do the halo/angel-eye headlights. You can do them yourself or have LSKoncepst do them. The orange reflector can be removed once they are apart.

Yea I contacted Ken a while ago about doing mine. Here's the response.

We do offer custom work for angel eyes. There are some stipulations for us to perform the work. The headlights MUST have grey sealant for us to use them. Also, you must ship the headlights in a re-usable box for us to send them back in. We can not install the angel eye rings into 03+ LS headlights. Here is the cost breakdown:

Installation of Predator Angel Eyes, Standard Color = $375 (includes shipping back to you)
Painted Bezels = $70
Pre-wire angel eyes = free (you must include your wiring harness when shipping headlights)
Removing Amber Lens = free
Polishing headlights = free (we clean them as much as possible and remove fine scratches. deep scratches will not be removed)

It's hard to do on the 03 and up headlights also but it's the sealant that makes it hard. Now for the those headlights, Lightwurks is the company you'll want to contact for that. Here's the response I got for doing those as well.

this project is very complicated and time consuming, We will need about 7-10 days

wow i actually think thats worth it. because i do want to clear the reflectors, the angel eyes are amazing, AND they color match it? lol what DONT they do? haha.

ok so another question. How does an LVC member get through to LightWurks? must be a website right?
 
plus they got the LED angel eyes now which LSKONCEPTS hasn't got in yet. They are FAR better than the Umnitza ones originally (and still) posted on LSKONCEPTS

you can get the LED ones on ebay for 199.99 (I believe that's the BUY IT NOW price).

One thing I do hate is that the angel eyes are'nt a complete circle on the HIs and LOWs but then again I'm putting eyelids on my headlights. Just matters if I want to do the work myself or LSKONCEPTS since I'm not the most technically inclined plus if I might f*ck something up....maybe stall it the wrong way....never know.

We'll see...I still should get some other mods taken care of and installed first. My rotors/ SS brake lines are sitting in my trunk and I just ordered a center console and a capiler paint kit. Lights are in no hurry either...there's so much damn mildew in the headlights I might as well buy another pair......

lightwerkz.net seems more legit. they even sell the hids i have in, which btw, are awesome as f u c k. i think they could even retrofit some projectors for me. if enough people ask, they'd probably have an LS line

the other one just doesnt appeal to me

I haven't heard of lightwerkz.net Fab but lightwurkz have done lights for the LS. Go to their webpage and click under customers rides I think it is. There was a member on here with an vivid red LS who had his done from them. I think he has sold them now, but they came out awesome.
