Heat Sheild for the CIA

I started the measurements today for my Heat sheild for my K&N intake and right now i just have the template and i am soon going to fabricate the finished piece what i wanted to know was what would be the best material to make a heat sheild out of im thinking something that reflects heat very well but i havent found any, my friend has a f150 lighting and got the whole set up for his CIA and his came with this plastic sheild but does any one have any suggesttions

I havent made any progress on my heatsheild as im buying another car for myself. But the material i planned on lining the outside of the sheild is a sound deadener made for dampening panels in the car from vibrating. Its also highly heat resistant and reflective.
