Heat Soaked!!!

For some reason my LS gets extremely heat soaked ever time I drive it. It loses tons of power, enough to get spanked by NA 4 bangers, when its cool out the car is almost untouchable with the CAI, exhaust, SCT flasher. Would a 160 degree thermostat help? And if so who mkaes one and where can I get it? Thanks.

Do you have the SCT Xcal 2 or 1? Just curious!

Have you had any real issues with your unit yet, I am waiting for mine to come in from Steeda. Also is everything its cracked up to be? On a scale 1-10 how do u rate it? (1-being bad 10-being great)

Not yet, i had it in for a day and loaded the factory settings back in due to needing more testing, I didnt want my car to have problems during the week since I travel quite a bit. I will post once I get time to test it better this weekend.

you should be able to get a cooler t-stat from motorcrap. call max at five star ford, he might be able to help you out.
