Looks like I found the site I needed for information on my new Lincoln LS.

I just purchased (Nov. 12) a 2001 LS V6 MTX 5 speed. Silver with dark grey interior, sunroof etc. 56,000 km/30,000 miles. This will be my everyday/winter beater vehicle as I store my 92 Taurus SHO MTX for the winter. It took me 3 months to find my new LS as the MTX is very hard to find. I think I know of every one in Canada as I search the internet and called 85 different Ford dealers looking for it. I found only 7 while looking and most had too many miles on them. The one I bought is in great shape and I am really pleased with it. It is a much more refined vehicle then my SHO, which has more of a muscle car feel, stiff clutch, hard shifts and a little wild as it is FWD. This does keep my wife out of it though. I am now being forced to come up with reasons why she can't take the LS as she really likes to drive it.

Had to have the MTX and really wish it had the V8 instead of the V6. Looked at a lot of other vehicles but after I drove the LS I was pretty sure it would fill the void when I put the SHO away. I have already been to my Lincoln dealer and order my 04 LSE rear spoiler. After I saw a few on this site I had to have one.

I don't have any photo's of the LS yet but I attached a few of SHO for you to see.

I look forward to spending a lot of time on this site.

The car is a mess since we had snow last night so I didn't take any outside shots, but here is a couple showing the factory wood option shifter knob I installed.

Welcome and nice rides too! Whats done to the SHO? I used to have one and loved it, miss it too! Pissed off alot of people with that car.

The SHO is stock other than Eibach's and Tokico's. I have owned the car since 94 and have learned that most SHO's that have been modified are very unreliable. Mine has 190,000km/120,000miles on it and has never let me down. I will be doing the full 120k service next year as well as a new clutch. Should set me back a few bucks.

Here is a couple shots of the LS.
