Hello I just bought a loaded silver 02 LS8 Sport and have spent the last 3 days skimping through all 104 pages of post here at LVC I cant bleave all the grate info here but I still have a lot of questions.
1. I paid $16,995 for it it came With dealer installed Wings West ground effects and wing as well as a Borla exhaust with 43,000 miles off a corp lease. Dose that sound like a good deal it was kind of an impulse buy so I don't know if I was an idiot or not.
2. I'm ordering the KKM intake form lskoncepts and will be building LoveLSE's CAI box. I also plain on getting the steel intake tube and the Xcalibrator 2 before the year is up. From what I've read I'm est. that once everything is said and done I should be putting about 245hp and 270tq to the rear wheals. Dose that seem about right if so is there anything else I can do to make more power NA short of sending the heads of to get port and polished, mabe a bigger MAF and intake? I'd like to be able to hit 275hp and 280tq but I got a feeling that might be a pipe dream.
3. How much power dose the magnalfow offer over the borla? I know the mag is louder (love the way the borla sounds) but is it worth the upgrade (Is'nt the mag a X pipe?)
4. I also plan on de-cromeing the front and back of the car as well as install angel eyes and HID, but I cant decide wether I should get my grill body colored or get a mclaren grill. I don't want to lower it (terrified enough of messing up the ground effects all ready) and I like the 17" body colored LS wheels it has all ready so what do you guys think I should do.
5. Don't know if this one is possible but I would love to get the Nav system installed. I have a great wireing guy that swearers he can do it but Id like to know if anyone has managed to do it first and about how much would the parts cost.
