Hell-o,
I'm suppose to introduce myself so here goes. As stated my online name is Warlock. I've built street and race cars for very long time. I've built from the big three manufacturers and volkswagen. I've run these cars at the track and done some "other" racing. I've run brakets and did a little stock class work.(D stock automatic.) The bug was a baja and played heck with 5.0's all day. Since there seems to be some interest, my fastest streeter was a '65 Plymouth Satilite. It ran a punched out 426 hemi, dual 1150 dominators, 727 trans with a fully manual valve body and out back a Dana 60 with 486 gears. The engine was built by Jim Clark's Engine Dynamics out of Baldwin Park, Calif. Jim ran the infamous "Hemi Under Glass" cuda. My best time out at Irwindale raceway in California was a sick 11.50 at 115 MPH I couldn't hook up. Didn't have slicks on. As I said I'm old school. My present ride is a '94 Mark VIII. While I was impressed with the stock performance there is a lot that can be done. This is project "Last One" and I'm looking to make this the best yet. This is where you the members can give me a hand. As you read I'm old school so questions will be coming your way. Some of the initial ones deal with ground effects kits, (whose got 'em?), lowering selinoids, superchargers, gears etc. I'm not looking for a 10 sec. street car but something that will put a few owners of rice burners I know heading back to the shop. My motto is "youth and ambition will never overcome old age and trechary." If any one start by pointing me in the right direction this should take care of the budget for a while.
Thanks,
Warlock
