Hi Everyone!

My name is Mike and I am new to this site. I am the proud second owner of a 1993 Mark VIII that was garaged and only has 48k miles on it. It rocks!

I have been reading about gears, intake manifolds and chips. The 1993 Mark VIII had the 280hp engine I believe and wondered if it would benefit from a Cobra intake for added horses. Also, I wanted to raise the gears from 3.08 to 3.27 and then chip it but really want to keep it a daily driver.

Would I gain some power from doing all of this without suffering in other areas besides gas milage?

Welcome to lvc. Nice find with 48,000 miles. Post this question in the Mark VIII section and you'll get a lot more responses. A lot of people don't look at this section. Post up some pics of it.
