help! 91 air shock out

one day i heard a boom under passenger side hood then car dropped. too cheap to take it to a mehcanic is there any way i can find the problem myself? i was thinking about getting reg shocks but the cheapest conversion kit ive found is 500.00 any one know of one cheaper? also a/c not blowing cold, compressor clicks on and i added freon any suggestions???? please help???

if you do the wrenching yourself, you can replace just that one strut (note I said strut, not bag). but I will bet ya the otherside will go soon, might as well change em both.

if you go conversion, you do of course need to change both fronts at a minimum.
