hey guys.....for the last two months or so.....the front of my 95 mark viii will lower occasionally. once i reach the "highway cruising speed" i lose the air in the front bags.....the front only....and every now and then when i start the car(and the front end is lowered) the compressor kicks on like usual and i can hear the air leak out like a flat tire(the right side only).........what should i do......is there a valve or a gasket that could be bad or dry-rotted?? also when it is warm out....i have no problem with the air leakin out....like the heat swells the leak or something.....any advice???? i would hate to start replacing parts.....although i wanted to get the coil over kit to lower it....but thats outta my budget right now. thanks!!! :Beer

Real simple you have a leaking bag. The bags wear out then they leak.

Simple test to make sure it is your bags. Click link below. If you have any questions call Eddie at American Air Suspenion Great guy who is more happy to help you fix your car than sell his product.

I will bet your bag is leaking. You can replace one but I'd replace both if you deside to go that route.

To change the bags is simple 1/2 to 1 hour job.

I just changed my wife's 93 VIII over to springs no more air ride problems. Very nice ride still! You can get them through Strutmasters, Struts R Us, or Arnott. I think Eddie sells conversions kits also.

I've got two good front air bags for sale cheap - only 3 yrs old and in great shape. PM me and I'll make you a deal. I did a coil conversion and don't need them.

thanks for the info guys..........i appreciate it. i have since determined that it is the front right bag that is bad. so i might be replacing it or goin to a full coil over drop kit. haven't decided yet. thanks again :Beer

No matter what you decide to do something that will help. Become a Gold Member before you purchase any new struts or conversion system. The money you save will be so much more than the cost of the gold membership.

My coil spring conversion saved me way more than the cost of becoming a gold member 3 to 4 time the cost.

Also this site is full of great membes like fossten who have used parts for sale. LvC member Thomas A is one of the big eBay seller and always has Mark VIII items for say.
