back in Jan. my wife got in a wreck in my 93. cracked the grill and hood and headlite mangment .

never a problem with airbags or airbag lite.

just got done removing and putting back the bumper cover and putting a headlite mangment (the large thing that the holds headlites)

when I start it up the airbag lite keeps blinking.

I know it wasn't from the wreck, cuz it never blinked untill I took the front end apart.

What did I do ?? How can I fix it.

I already pulled the battery cable to clear the CPU

Help this sucks!!

When it blinks its actually telling you a code. Watch the blinking when you start it.. For an example....

Code 12 would be signaled by, 1 flash, long pause, 2 flashes

Code 45 would be signaled by, 4 flashes, long pause, 5 flashes

If you have multiple codes present, there will be nothing that seperates them other than the pause between flashes. Your best bet is to have a piece of paper handy, and write them down.

IF the car had a front end ht, it's prolly just a front collision sensor acting up. They are pretty tempermental.

There are 2 attached to the headlight mounting panel. They are just little Square black boxes with a couple of wires comming out of em'.

Mike

PS, get the code and post it on here, and well see whatcha got.

Good to hear Buddy....eventually it would have burnt out the thermal fuse in the airbag ecu....

I hope you have it back on the road soon. Did you get the hood adjusted yet? I will be looking for another chrome strip for you next week, and if I find one I will UPS it instead of USPS.
