Guys, putting my '96 non-factory equipped HID car back together in the body shop, just bought brand new set of HID's and don't want to mess them up..

question.. there are two harnesses coming out of each ballast, one plugs into HID headlamp assy, and the other.. is red/blk.. just like the factory halogen headlamp wires on the harness for the halogen bulb.. but the harnesses of course do not plug in (i didn't expect them to).. but I need to know NOW.. do I splice the two together??

I need help asap, i am at a hold up until i find out, which is my bad..... but please help asap..

if you know and could call me... just give me a ring.. the computer in the shop is down.. so it's a lil inconvenient..

641-220-3861.. or just reply..

Thank you!

Chris

Cut the plug that does not match the HID plug. I think the HID ones are yellow and gray and the 12V ballast feed is red and black. You want to cut the low beam headlamp plug wires and splice/solder to the red & black. Black is ground.

DO NOT plug the HID plug into the ballast harness without cutting the internal locking tabs!
