Help... ATS light on on Dash (check AdvanceTrak)

I get in my car turn it on and the ATS (Slippery car icon) on dash stayed on and I smelled like a electrical smoke from the dash area.... Now the button that turns off/on the ats by the shifter stays up and doesnt activate the ATS anymore..
Can it be a bad fuse, or at least something minor, I did have a quater slide through there the other day, could that had caused it.....

uh ohhh.....magic smoke ain't good....

I would definitely be looking for that quarter. If that didn't find the problem, I would get it into some place that could find it. You would hate to catch the thing on fire...
