what's going on with you all? well check it I am takeing my 00 LSV8 sport to the dealer tomorrow for some tranny problems( so I think) this is the second time I will be taking it for the same problem when I put the car from reverse to park and park to reverse I get a very audible clunk. also my gas mileage is horrible 13.3 aprox, and they just cleaned the fuel injectors, and changed the fuel filter...also in a previous thread which I posted... that no one helped me with! lol its ok I was well actually I still am getting some rear passenger ticking sounds at about 35 to 40 mph. its an inconsistent sound cant figure it out.... I have noticed that thru reading a lot of these threads and I do mean a lot. I seam to be getting paranoid over a lot of things that have not happened to my ls but seam very possible to occur to me thru past issues with other owners... is it just me or does everyone here share some of this LS paranoia... the front suspension seams rough.. ive had the bushings replaced already as well....hummm help... I am going to go tomorrow but i know that they will try to dismiss some of my concerns after they road test the car but i still hear the noice... they tell me that if they do check out the item and its not under warranty or damaged that they would charge me for the labor? I have a $50 deduc what should i do... iam trying to take care of everything before my warranty expires...

If you are concerned about something be sure to visit the service department and get paperwork for the problem. A problem that has existed and was documented under warranty should be covered even after the warranty expires. I recently went through this with the Mother-In-Law's Mercury Mystique.

well i went and they said that the front two window regulators are probably out....going to replace... thank goodness for premium care

It's great that they're replacing them, but how are they "probably out" ? Do they work?

What about the transmission problems, rear ticking problems, and gas mileage problems?

well originally the advisor told me that to check all those items out would be an estimate of about $400 assuming that they were not under warranty. so rather than risk it I asked a technician to check it out and he said that the front regulators where prob out since they made a grinding sound and the window glass was a little scratched.. as for the tranny that should be under warranty I believe it’s the solenoid pack and the advisor agreed ... the ticking still needs to be checked out and the mileage problem well they said that I would cost about 108 to run it thru some fuel consumption machine and they would go from there....waiting for them to call me tomorrow with an update
