Help Elec. problem

Well my 95 Mark, all of a sudden starting honking not the alarm honk but a steady honk that didnt stop and the ext lights wont turn off this happened when I was driving. I unpluged the horn but lights still wont turn off anyone ever have same problem or know where to start looking thanks

sounds like a short in the column take it apart and inspect all of the wiring I have a Gen1 FSM if I can help.
