I had this same problem. Changed over to springs on my 93.

If you become a gold member you can get great discounts from the vendors to make the change less expensive. $350 - $400.

Conversion is simple and takes only about 1 to 2 hours.

Otherwise I'd get in touch with Eddie (screen name - American Air-1) at American Air Suspension www.americanairsuspension.com .

Eddie will give you the best answers just give him a call. He's not out to sell you products but he has them available if you need them.

What year is the car? is it a mark vii? if so you could had filled it up at a gas station. the valve in the engine comparment, But you need to know the code to get each individual bags up. first the lose wire by the air bag switch neeed to be place on the screw near the switch. then turn key to right, with engine off, wait 3 or 5 seconds then open and close the diriver door for each bag.
