help how it work and components navigator 04 air suspension

i just notice mytruck not have the original air suspension instead have coilovers shocks seems to be from expedition this is what tell me the mechanic well i check my navi and found in front of battery area i think the compressor and on all 4 corners i see the rubber lines with some bolt on it to block the lines what more components use my air susp and also i don't nave any alarm/warnings from my dash panel why? i think if you do this maybe the computer tell you something wrong with the suspension , i want to know all i need to convert back my truck in the original state , by the way mine is the top model with 4x4 i say that cuss i read some where the 4x4 comes with diferent struts then 4x2 if anyone can help me please thanks and sorry for my bad grammar cuss i speak spanish and i try to do my best on translated all without a translator thanks
 
You're better off leaving as is. The air suspension system is expensive to maintain, but if you want to start from scratch then you can get a whole new assembly off Ebay for around $1,200-$1,500 which would include the main components (4 air shocks and compressor). With that being said, you have to hope your air lines are still in good shape and electrical components as well. If you ask around with current owners like myself, we'll all tell you the same.....stick with the converted kit, same ride feel (minus 1" height self adjusting) and much cheaper!
 
thanks for reply have a question where is the compresor locate ? and i think I'm gona convert my truck to an aftermarket air bag system cuss i end spend as much for original parts , but first i want to check where is locate the compresor to see of i can use that for my conversion or just put the new one in there my truck have music and roll on 24's and when is parked look a little seated on back kind off level this is why i want the air sus to level by itself , if I'm not wrong i read the navis do this also adjust the height on higway that's correct ?
