Well I have had my 96 Mark VIII LSC for 3.5 days, few things messed up and I am going back to the dealer monday morning - wanted to be in atlanta by then, but this is far more important.
The a/c comes on about 5-8 mins after you hit it on, then if you go over a bump it cuts off and sometimes cuts on right away sometimes, not have to wait - ARGH!!!
Drivers side mirror is jacked up all, looks like the special stuff they put in it to stop the lights behind you from blinding you leaked out and rests at the bottom of the mirror - does not bother me but looks weird.
Had to add to antifrz already, temp gauage was fluxing. Has leveled off since I added water, but was only a little low (the msg ctr alerted me).
msg ctr comes on when ever lights come on and says check exterior lights if on - but they are all on I hit reset and it stays off.
tonight I went out to car and get something, went to open with key pad, nothing, no lights on keypad, interior lights did not come on when I touched key pad (they should) and the door or trunk did not open when pressed code.
Yeah, I am kinda concerned about all this combined, sounds like electrical probs. Looked in book and someone had written:
"The Clacker which operates the combined turn signals plus hazzard flashers (same lights) is located under the fuse box access throught the hole inpanelling. Try tapping first." (it looked like someone had removed the panel under the steering wheel to do this and put it back a little lose)
on the next page (fuse box diagram) same someone wrote:
"Fuse 11 for turn signal Gnbinki (couldn't make it out, deff. not blinker) with hazard flashers"
I can't figure out what is going on! I sure hope the dealer will make it right. I am very anxious to get it back to them and see what is going on!
Hopefully someone can reply before I go so I will know if they are trying to screw me.
