i recently had surgery on my shoulder and couldn't drive. I left my car in my driveway for about a week and the first time I drove it after it had a new noise. It's an extremely loud bang from the back of the car, and it happens on almost every sharp left turn, but never on a right turn though. If I take the turn slow it won't happen, and with more people in the car (more weight) it seems more prone to make the bang which makes me suspect suspension. Took both rear wheels off and lifted car to look but couldn't find a culprit. It sounds like the rear left of the car, but that's what I hear when I'm driving and every friend I have in the car on the passenger side says it's the right side so it could be the middle of the car potentially. It is a 2002 lincoln ls lse v8 with sport suspension. Help would be much appreciated thank you!!

You are most likely right about it being in the suspension. However,,, with so many different parts under the LS,,, it would be hard to diagnose over the net. I suggest you take it to a reputable shop near you and have them look at it.
