Help Please...Car Shop Screwed Me Over!!

about a year and a half ago I went to a car shop (big boys toys on queens blvd. in queens ny) and paid cash to have blue hid's installed into my headlights and fog lights...it cost me 1000$ all together..well i was having non stop problems after they were installed...the lights would sometimes not turn on and would be two different colors (one headlight would be a diff color then the other and the same for my fogs) well i found out they used cheap quality parts...i spoke to them about it and they installed high quality german hids...they destroyed my headlights from the backside...everything was chopped up and put ba ck togther using bondo...i bought new headlights and had them do it over...now the basically did the same thing...i keep getting moisture inside all of the enclosures, my lights are different colors, and my foglights dont always work...i have been going back and forth for a year and a half trying to get them to buy me new lights and re-do everything the corect way...but they keep bull shi**ing me!! they say they will but then they always make up an excuse...what should i do?? it drives me crazy!!

Over 18 months ... wow. $1000 is kinda a good deal too. We wanted to do HIDs in my wife's 'Stang and it was well over $2000 so we bagged the idea.

I would get a legal firm to write a letter - prob cost you $50 but it will get their attention.

What about the local Better business bureau? You can always check on them ans see what there reputation is and file a compliant.

I agree that would be the route to go... Contact the Better Business Bureau and see where that gets you.. After contact an attorney and have them draft a letter.

ok guys that sounds like a good idea...but i think they are under new ownership now if that makes a difference...but their still being a**holes
