I have a buddy that is going to be opening a shop doing performance engine building and auto machining. He is looking for a name for his shop. something focusing on Street and race cars. Please post any recomendatino for a shop name. any help is appreciated. Rick

"Rick's Buddy's Street and Race Car Performance Engine Building, Auto Machining and Bait Emporeum"

or,

"Round Lake Beach Tech -
Specializing in Performance Engine Builds
and Precision Machining"

or,

"(Your buddy's name) Performance Engine and Precision Machining"

As long as you get into the name of the shop the services that are provided by the shop, you really don't have to have a fancy name. Just look at some of the big successful business names. I kinda like the first one, though ;-)

Have him call me, we are also a full service multimedia set up now. CobraStar multimedia. Our specialty is marketing and advertising, especially automotive related. Logos and naming is our game!! We can handle everythung he would need to get started, ALL printing and advertising of any type. Were having a business card special right now too, NO ONE will beat our prices, guranteed.

Heres some examples of our work:

If you are going to advertise in the yellow pages, maybe a name close to the beginning of the alphabet. I would think most guys would go for the first name or so. (Also, anytime a trade brochure is printed, your business name gets listed towards the top).

Would avoid a "location" name in case you would ever move your shop to another city. Your phone number lising gives the city.

So, given that:

"Action Automotive and Racing"
"Bullet Automotive"
"Bullet Automotive and Racing"
"Bullet Motor"
"Bullet Motor and Racing""
"Bullet Performance and Racing"
Others:
"Thunder Racing and Performance"
"Thunder Automotive"

Or, your buddy's initials with "Automotive and Performance" ?
