Alright the reason im pulling the motor is cause i dropped a valve and i was just gonna pull the head cause the valve seemed to only hit the piston once now i dont have a space for the car since my dad needs the garage for his cars and rather then have an exposed motor in the weather i decided to just pull it but im having trouble locating something that i would trust chaining to the cherry picker. anybody already done this that can give me a hand

I have done this SEVERAL times......just recently as a matter of fact. You will hafta remove the cowl panels, and the wiper/wiper motor, as well as the intake manifold. If you look at the pic that I post you will see the stud I used for the front spot. The one on the rear I used the mounting hole for the throttle cable bracket. I would try to get the metal straps that are used to pull these motors, or make some up yourself because the bolt in the rear WILL bend if you use a chain link (thank god for a spare motor with these bolts present.....LOL)

Hope this helps....if you need more info you can inbox me or email me and I can help.

As you can see with DonLino's pic he has the metal straps I was referring to, and he uses the same lifting points I used.....MUCH better pic than what I have. :D

NOTE:
To prevent glass and/or paint damage, do not pry arm from pivot with metal or sharp tool.

Raise the blade end of the arm off of the windshield and move the slide latch away from the pivot shaft and slowly lower the arm onto the latch. This will unlock the wiper arm from the pivot shaft and hold the blade end of the arm off of the glass at the same time. The wiper arm can now be pulled off of the pivot shaft without the aid of any tools.

alright now i was just trying to do what i think was right now the arm seems to be a 2 piece arm so i would pull on the half that actually is attached to the blade and the other half should then slide away from that and come off of the pivot section. now it is a 95 mark just incase that makes a difference.
