the neon some one has a fix for 95 bucks.
the telescope might be a switch $30.
a friend's dad works for lincoln maybe get a good discount...

do the 95-96 inside door handle fit the 97-98's. i dont like the crome handles...... i want colour handle

keep the chrome, brings out the interior a lot more than the crappy ones in the G1! im getting G2 handles for mine, going to spiff up my interior a bit.

any one know the prices on interior piece for new ones....

any one have pics of a 97-98 black lcs w/ window tint

My wipers did the same EXACT thing, I did the multifunction switch, and that did not help it. Wiper motor solved that problem, and by the way, the M/F switch was $56 from Max, but that was probably before I was members on this board... so probably cheaper. Wiper motor was around $130 more or less?

I JUST baught a wiper motor from NAPA yesterday because I was having the same problem, havent installed it yet but it was remanufactured and cost $60 plus $25 for the core but I'll get that back soon anway... I have a 94' but I imagine that the price would be similar no matter what, gen1 or gen2, so your looking at about a $60 fix if you do it yourself.

well the Neon you should be able to find at some where like this
FordAuto.com
they sell yoused parts
if they dont have it there look here
http://www.car-part.com/
you should be able to find from a salvage yard for somewhere around 50 to 150 dollars

I just rebuilt my 97 LSC power tilt and tele column. I could hear my two motors (tilt, tele) running within it but I had no action when I inserted the key. I used a little to much brut force on my steering wheel and the column came out of the dash into two parts with just some wires and a cables holding them together. Oach these ball bearings fell out of the column so it was a good thing the Mark was parked when this happened. I never did get the steering wheel off of the column but I did manage to get the lower part of the powered column fixed and reinstalled.

Their are two sets (one upper, one lower) of plastic sleaves that has four larger ball bearings within it. That "bearing sleave" runs on a upper and lower "rail system" inside the lower part of the steering column. I went to the local Ford store and purchased 2-bearing sleaves, four rails, and four little pins that hold the 4-rails in place. All cost was about $55.00. My eletronic accuator wasn't broken and that saved me about $28.00.

Make sure you have a torks bit set with a # 27 for sure. On the lower part of the column down by the knockel you have to take off a eletronic speed turning sensor off then your two power motors off before opening up the lower part of column. I tested my motors to make sure they was good before investing into the parts that was needed. It wasn't all that hard but it did take some time because the parts had to be ordered.

Their is also a used powered column on E-bay for $100.00 + shipping. I wasn't able to take off my existing steering wheel to exchange it. I looked around and the complete powered column with the steering wheel without the air bag cost over $200.00

Bad eletronic steering column accuator about $28.00 parts. Labor ???? good luck,
I would guess about 8 hours. My local Ford store was saying they never fixed one like that before....

Lincolnboy... what color is your interior? I would LOVE a set of chrome inside door handles...I have a set of saddle from a 95. I'd give up my black ones, but until the swap was done, I'd be "locked in!"

And maybe a steering wheel puller?????

BTW, your wiper problem sounds like a motor problem and not a switch problem. Easily diagnosed if you have access to a manual.
