help with dimming lights

i just installed my kicker 1200.1 amp into my car and my lights are dimming very badly. Where can i get an alternator for an ls? i havnt found anyone that carries them

Try Team Ford (they have a banner ad on the right side of the forum), or FastPartsNetwork (http://www.fastpartsnetwork.com/). I don't know of any aftermarket alternators for the LS, but if there's an alternator shop in your area, you might talk to them and see if they can "enhance" your stock alternator.

you dont need an alt......just get a large stif cap and possibly another
battery ( like a gel cell )
