How long did it sit without running? Are you sure the battery is good?

starter fluid??

I would never spray anything into the intake of a modern vehicle.

could be a lot of things, when you sprayed the starter fluid, was it just into the plastic tube? was the throttle open or still just sitting closed? did it even make any difference?

It was sitting for month and a half. The battery was dead so I got a jump and it still wont start its just cranking. Before letting it sit it never had a starting problem or any. I thought maybe its due tothe cold but dont know

battery needs to be replaced then if you had to jump start before and now it wont fire.

Didnt spray into the tube but in to the throttle body. It did make a difference it seemed like it was trying to start but still didn't

The jump start wont work either even with the cables attatched to other car

These cars are VERY touchy when it comes to those madders.. It might be worth buying a battery charger and charging it up with that.. The battery could be soo dead that it is junk; won't take a charge..

I picked up a small battery charger from walmart for $25 and have used it to revive several batteries many times.

Probably a stupid question, but can you hear the fuel pump prime? Do you have fuel pressure at the rail? Maybe you had some water in the gas, and froze in the line. dunno how cold it gets in Wixom though.

Another thing to check is if the IAC valve is stuck/failed. Does it start if you hold the pedal at about 25% throttle?

well, if spraying the starting fluid did make some difference, it sounds like you have spark, and as pete mentioned, i would check fuel next.

actually first, have the battery tested, i have seen many LS's not start by using jumper cables. it is a very picky car when it comes to jumping, also a lot of times fuses can blow from jumping a car

even a worn out but still working battery can cause havoc with all the sensors and stuff.

Yes I can hear the pump prime and I went to autozone and rented a fuel pressure gauge and it only read 39/40. I even tried dry gas and still nothing. Uuuggghhh also when using then fuel pressure thing there a very little gas coming thru when I have a half tank ofgas so im thinking somethings clogged so imma gonna try the fuelfilter

Correct.. Get your battery charged/checked..

Got tha battery charged and checked hooked it back up and still nothing. Jus keep sounding like it wants to turn over but won't this is frustrating.
