For those of you who are 'young' enough to remember the Hertz rent a racer program from the mid-late 60s this summer will give us that chance again.
-So nice not to have to worry about over revin', blowin the motor or burning up the tires...

They stopped this program due in part by customers renting the Shelby Mustangs, stripping off the Hi-Po parts and putting on standard parts. Hertz techs didn't know the difference till the next customer tries to race and finds out he has a straight 6 not a hi-po Shelby built v8.
Sigh...those were the days..no credit cards -just a check or cash for the rental and proof of insurance was all you needed.
