Hesitation Problem

I own a 95' Mk8 and ever since I've owned it I've had this problem. I'll stop at a stop sign or just be driving between 5-30mph and I'll watch the rpm's go up and down and the car will make a noise along with the "rythem" the rpm's. Kinda like the car's trying to go but it won't. And also I'll give it gas while driving and won't really get any acceleration. I've had my mechanic check it out and the dealer. We've changed plugs, plug wires, o2 sensor,fuel filter, and I've tried the seafoam. No codes. Please tell me someone else has had this problem before. Thank you anybody!!!!

My problem sounds similar, although not exactly like yours. I had my throttle control sensor replaced to settle down the idle.

OK, guys, I got my front O2 sensors replaced and...PRESTO!!!!

NO MORE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, NO MORE HESITATION!!!

The car finally runs just like it should.

This weekend I'm gonna drill my box and remove the air silencer to celebrate.
