:D Hey guys, I just signed up for the forums and am looking forward to meeting some new people, seeing some hot ass rides, and learning a few things about the Lincoln LS and its available mods.

A little about myself,

25 years old, I own a small Window tinting shop where my pickiness pays off as I strive for perfection in all my work. Ive been customizing cars for the past 5 years.....mainly suspension and body/paint.

Im currently shopping for a used Lincoln LS. I have my sites set on a 2000-2002 V-8(silver, black, or pearl) as I dont really like the tail-light changes that took place on the 03 models.
Basically all I plan on doing to the car at first is a set of 22" TIS 07 wheels, lowering springs, and of course tint. And just drive the hell out of the bitch!!

So if anyone has any tips on what I should watch out for, or stay away from on my search for the LS let me know, its much apprciated!!!!!

Alex, what a great name. mine, sons, daughters, dads, and sisters name. Look for any tranny, overheaating, coil, clockspring, issues. Low miles and dont overpay, like I did. 2000 to 2002, 9 to 13 grand tops.

 Thats alot of Alex's's's's'

I test drove an 01 with 60K that was a piece. My Tauras with over 100K miles rode waaaaay better. Coilsprings I plan on swapping out. I have heard rumors of problematic trans's and let me tell ya the one I test drove shifted funky. Especially switching from P to R, or P to D.

the majority shift hard, especially from reverse. good luck on that one.
suspension is also a little tight, definately not a cadi. they do handle great at high speeds and turns though. look around on here, a week or two ago, a guy had his mint 02 lse for sale, for like 12 grand. be patient.

Thanks for the welcomes!!!!!

I just looked at on 01 today with 44K. Nice car but iut was Ivory Parchment.... (eeeewwwww)

Theres an 02 Silver with 36K in MI that looks VERY promising......but thats a 500mile(round trip) drive for me....

I wish I woulda caught the guy sellin the LSE. Id LOVE to find a CLEAN well maintained 02 or older LSE with 50K or less............ so if you hear of any, let me know!!! :)
