Hey, gang. It was a beautiful morning here in Arizona so I decided to give my 98 LSC a bubble bath. As I was happily heading towards my local car wash, I ran into some road construction and of course got trapped in a single lane behind a nasty-a$$ foreign pick up truck which threw a chunk of gravel up onto my windshield and put a lil divot in it, thankfully withOUT cracking it.
However, once I got back into the car after washing it, I almost stopped breathing when I discovered water was dripping INSIDE the interior from the mirror down onto the gear shift!!!
QUESTION 1: On the exterior, I never really noticed the windshield trim/molding before -- on a Gen 2, is it TWO pieces that meet right in the middle of the top of the windshield, right above the mirror? Or is it only ONE piece of molding that goes all the way across the top of the windshield, and mine got cracked?
QUESTION 2: Before, I also never really paid attention to the black cowl under the windshield wipers. It looks like it's supposed to be a 2-piece construction -- right? Are the left and the right cowls supposed to butt directly together where they meet? Or should there be a lil gap of maybe 3/8" or so between them?
Thanks!
