So on turkey day i bought my first LM7 Its a Red 1990 LSC. Been wanting one since my college roommate had a brown 89 LSC, and fell in love....Personally im a huge mustang fan but there not the best for kids....this car provides mustang power with Lincoln luxury what more could i ask for.....(maybe a wife who doesn't hate it.) Anyhow, im a 26y old guy who loves to work on his own cars, im married with 2 kids. Car was a one owner with 111xxx miles, great body only rust is right around the trunk lock emblem. Interior is ok, front seats have typical wear and rips, but back is perfect. Dash and console are ok dash has cracks on top, im sure that is common, but it also as typical wear and tear had to replace stock CD player, no illumination and Cd part was non functional. Also had some pipe missing from the exhaust temporarily replaced with straight pipes after the H with stock tailpipes. Then it needs new rear airbags, they'll air up and sometimes stay air'd up but for the most part they are down all the way, and you can hear the air leaking out. They're on order should be here tomorrow or Thursday.....(hopefully tomorrow). Need a new water pump but fixed that right away. Needs not much else....very nice car, very fast too, and better MPG's then i thought. AVG 20-23 on the highway...15-17 in town. Hopefully will become a gold member. Any tips and tricks for these awesome cars be sure and let me know.......
