Joined as iam thinking of getting a mark viii. Not sure on the gen yet at first was thinking gen 2 but not sure now mostly likely a 2nd gen as it seems easyer to find one with low miles.

my $0.02= gen 1's are faster, gen 2's have more luxury features, you're probably right, easier to find a gen 2 in better shape
