please explain on it being well used
well i got the girl this last monday. she has 150,000 miles on her. she was hit on the driver side. the damage appears to be on the out side only (nothing looks bent behind the fender and all) there is a lot of crappy bondo work on the fender and some on the door. the mirror is also JB welded on. the rear bumper looks like it has been burned very slightly (it could be a really crappy touch up job). its was missing a lot of lug nuts and the other ones where jacked up. its missing some little stuff like a light cover on the door, ashtray, a center cap, jack and trunk stuff, the battery hold down, and fuses box cover. the back of the seats appear to be falling off. the cd player doesn't work. drivers side head light went out tonight. every tire was different, one was super bald another one separating. the front end clunks bad. i have looked into it some already and it seems the sway bar rubber and links like to clunk. it seems to me like its mostly lower ball joints (had the car in the air today and i can move the knuckle up from the lower arm about 1/4" or more). there was no rust under her though and she isn't hardly greasy. i believe (after looking around here again) is the clockspring. no horn or wheel controls plus air bag light is on. im going to try fixing this tomorrow. she also doesn't like to start runs good after she fires just tacks a lot of cranking to get here there. i got some injector cleaner in her now. probably need some injectors soon.

all and all i see a beautiful car that just needed a loving home. the interior cleaned up pretty darn nice just need to find a couple of them little things and the inside will be next to perfect.

the clunking in the front end is most likely the bushings

the radio/cd player, horn and steering wheel controls sounds like the clockspring but before replacing, check under the drivers seat and check the connections under there

all the little stuff missing, you should call Maxx at 5 star ford and check his prices out

check under the drivers seat and check the connections under there
i will check this to night. i didnt realise the clockspring was so much $ if its not the connections it will have to weight. i can live with that stuff not working for now. i got to fix the clunking first i can stand it. im going to do some more searching and reading in the LS section before throwing out to many questions. probably start a thread there soon too.

thanks for the replies:Beer
