Just wondering what the problem is. I have a 91 Lincoln Mark VII and in order for it to shift into overdrive it has to rev up to 3000 rpms then it kicks down into overdrive. Whats going on?

It could be a few different problems. Start with making sure the TV cable is adjusted properly. I strongly recommend that you stop driving the car until you figure this out, as the AOD is not going to last long if it isn't running properly.
