Got my conversion kit in the other day, and plan on doing it this coming weekend. So I will have my originals available. My driver side bulb seemed a little dim, but I will snap pics tomorrow.

Make offers on pairs or individuals. Wanted to post it up now to A) motivate me to get it done B) give you guys first crack before Ebay.

So the driverside is way dim. I will sell it if somone wants it, but otherwise I have one HID bulb and both ballast.

I think I'd check the ballast from the other side to see if that bulb will get any brighter. If not, I would trash it because it's not supposed to be quite that dim but you could sell as is with two OEM ballasts.

Did you get 6000K or 8000K?

What does anyone need the OEM ballasts for now?

If you need to replace the ballast, you might as well just retrofit the aftermarket system in, right?

There are ebay people that have no clue about "retrofit" and they will buy ballasts.

Exactly. Figured I would post up here just incase someone wants replacements instead of a retrofit.

Oh and I got a little carried away and got the 10k kit. Do a lot of driving at night in the mountains and boonies. Also have deer wander freakin everywhere in this city.

when they are dim they are dead, the ballast either works or it doesnt so if a bulb is only lit up a little, that means the ballast is working fine but the gas in the bulb has leaked into the main capsule the center glass bulb inside the capsule probably has a crack if you look close enough. i have a whole tool box drawer full of dim ones i dont know why i keep them lol. put the good one on ebaythey still sell on there.

I'm only selling the good one, the dim one might wind up in my garage or on my entertainment center. Figure I would throw it up here, then eBay....due to my hatred of that place.
