Does anyone know if its possable to change the 2003 ls driving(fog) lights to a hid kit?
and were to get 1?
i think the bulb is a 9145
thanks

If you did go with HID in the fogs you would have to get the 9005 bulb. No one makes an HID kit in the 9145/H10 bulb.

will the 9005 fit? without modifiying anything?
what about the heat from the bulb?
thanks, who has what i need?

ken has what you need, get the hoen xenomatch plus 9005 bulbs and get the high output adapters (both of which are out of stock) and thatll be the closest you can get to true HIDS

Yes the 9005 will fit in the fogs. They have the same socket size. The only difference is that the 9145 bulb has a painted tip. The 9005's don't. As for heat, real HID's produce less heat that regular halogen.

I bought the headlights Quik suggested last year and they've been great. I'm finally tired of my "yellow tint" to the stock 9145's and I'm going to buy some 9005's for the fogs. Unfortunately they don't have the light strength I'd like. But I'd like to keep the same color tint on all my lights.

i got those same lights that Quik suggested off Ebay as well... i think we are talking about the same ones? but i love them, clear white, and havnt given me any problems yet...

I bet if yuo aim the lights down a little more you will be happy....the 9005 scatter the light more without the painted tip....so you might wanna try this if you already have not...

actually if you look on ebay there are kits made that are 9145/h10 or at least they advertise carrying them...they may be selling the 9005 as a 9145/h10.

Also the 3000K temp gives off a nice yellow color...
