i bought a hid kit for my lincoln ....but im not sure if i put the bulbs in faceing the right way...if anybodys knows hid light bulbs ..its the bulb then that other white stick thing under the light bulb....what way is that white stick supoose to be faceing ...up? down? left? right? ...if any one could help please ..thanks

Iirc mine is pointed down. At the time it seemed like that would be the best position as to not disrupt the light pattern. Doubt it really matters though.

If i'm remembering... correctly... my stock HID's... the stick is down...

I just put mine in the way they fit. I thought they were keyed...

+1, I think it's down either way, but there should only be one way that the bulb goes in.

a lot of cheap kits just have a bulb in a rubber chunk, and then you have a cheap @ss plastic piece that locks it in, with these kits, the bulb can be put in at any angle.

The cheapest bulbs i've used were ddm's at 15 bucks a pair and those were keyed. Those must be some real cheap kits then, no offense OP

i,ve had like three damn people bring in kits like that, and they never had any words written in English on the box.

the DDM's where the first ive seen that matched up to specific bulb shapes.
