Hey guys, Click the link, and go to the HID Album.

I finally got the lenses sanded down to 2000 grit, tomorrow Ill hit em with the polishing compound, and the buffer and they will be done. The fiberglass is done on one of the housings (I got tired of working on them), and called it quits.

Let me know what you think.

I have the same boombox at work! But its looking nice man! Keep up the good work! :Beer

I really like the work you're doing...I think you could remove about 10 of the pictures of the 'stock" housings on your countertop "pre" modification.. one or two would suffice, which will help you upload your images....anyway...SLIDESHOW is best guys...

So, to understand...projector beams, glassed into the plastic housings, and old "refraction" lenses sanded smooth, then polished?

have you thought about the heat build-up? Its the heat in the confined space that destroys the reflective material in the stock housings. I see you left the reflective material alone, knowing the projectors will put out the light source. But you are going to have a serious problem dissipating the heat.

keep the pics coming, and when its done. Dont give up now... you're so close.

Thanks for sharing.
