This is the kit that i was looking into getting.
From people I have spoken to this is one of the better brands to get, opinions on that?

I also have heard that getting 8000 has much worse visibility than something like 4000 but i wanted to have a bit of blue with my light. How drastic is the light differance? can I alteast assume it would be much nicer than stock lights?

thanks in advance.

Trust my words, any high intensity light is going to be multiple times better looking and performing. 6000 is the way to go, VERY white with a NICE light tint of blue. They are the way to go. Stock car HID's are around 4300, halogen is around 2700, the higher the number the "purpler" the light output will be. After 7000 is when you start to decrease visibility. For what you want 6000 is the way to go, TONS of nice white light, a light shade of blue, and not obnoxious looking at all.

Opps I just realized I have the 5000k kit not a 4300....Ii have the same kit and I love it....I am trying to get get a hold of some 6000 bulbs because I want to see how much blue they put out....the 5000k is WHITE on the ground and when you look at them in the day (say your washing the car how you would be close to the light and over it) you cant even see the light is on its so white....you have to get down and look at it....I would love to see them a little more blue (like 3-5 secs after they turn on) I like the light blue tint....

I love that kit took me about 5 mins to hook up....

its pretty blue but can u still see really well or is it just a looks thing and it doesnt give the clearity of hids?

they are bright.. its still clear.. they jus look more blue.. and from the driver seat.. u can see a lil bluish color on everything ur shinning up.. but remember.. i got top and bottom..

when i have top on only they are about 4 times brighter than my oem high beams

I have 8000k, they are BLUE, very powerful though, lot more then my friend's 740il, even though he has projector headlight. My left one doesn't work now, I gotta buy a new one.
