Today I decided to do my own black Friday shopping at my local LKQ Pick-A-Part. I haven't been there since September. There was a serious Mark VIII drought. None to be found. so I stayed away for a while. Now the Thanksgiving 4 day weekend is here, and they're having a half price sale. So I go and look and look, then my eye catches this Silver Gen 2 LSC. The usual stuff is gone, the rear neon, and the headlights. so I start to look over the car, and too my dismay, this car has Vogtland 1.6 springs all around and and Attco 1 1/4" sway bar.

So I start thinking who in Houston would put these kind of parts on their car. Then I remember, this car once belonged to a former member I guess named Cobrabird. He recently within the past year invested a boat load of money investing in this stuff. I don't know what happed to the car that landed it in the junkyard, but it's my gain. I paid $82 for all these parts.

I don't need the SCIL, I still have two. I do plan to get the column. I just ran out of money. I'll go back tomorrow.

You also lucked out with the sway bar, as it has the DLF bushing/clamp kit on it.

Just finished putting on the fronts. I'll put the rears on tomorrow. The stance looks pretty decent for lowered in the front and standard in the rear though.
Sorry Don, I am keeping these. The struts are KYB, I have some Strutmaster standard ride height if anyone is interested.

What kind of perches are those for the rear springs? Did those come with the vogtland springs as a conversion kit or something? Never seen them before.

I never seen them before. I think they were something that was purchased after the fact.

What I can't figure out is why Cobrabird didn't part the car out? He car had no exterior damage, I can only believe it was something internal.
